Which may already be in progress. Look up the subject of "Wadham's
Chimneys", which are a series of convective chimney structures in the
Greenland Sea. They are one of the principal drivers of the Atlantic
Conveyor. You'll find these mentioned in Richard Alley's "The Two-Mile Time
Machine".
