Correct, great one! Also, the end that is not available for light fogging
can also be screwed up in processing, as it ends up being the end on the
outside of the reel when processed.

I realize that I could get more shots on a roll if I didn't advance
the film to frame 1. If you are willing to risk the first couple of
frames, you can get shots on frames 00 and 0.

But I don't ever trust those first couple of shots because of halation
issues and development. The leader and first couple of shots are more
likely to be damaged from light leakage and x-rays. I might waste a
shot on frame 0, but if it's a good shot I always dupe it on Frame 1.
