Seems the problem is Uncle Bill has not yet provided access to USB 3.0
in the Win PE, (used by all the imaging software for recovery)

The drive imaging tech support guys have already sweated this and have
not been able to solve it.
They said they "hope" win7 sp1 will address this issue as it is well
known. Ye can't just load the driver
anymore. Most say just use a USB 2.0 port for recovery but I see
reports of the drive not being recognized. They
all say try the recovery disk first before any purchase , if possible.
Ugh, DOS was actually better in this regard--least you could always get
it to work.
Perhaps this is of some interest, perhaps not.
