I've had my A4 and RX7 up to the limiter. In the USA, they are limited
to right around 220km/h. If you upgrade to Z-rated tires you can
disable the limiter and take it right up to redline.

I must say that both cars were exceptional as they both hunkered down
and just scooted along. I didn't stay at speed very long--the tires
weren't good enough for that. The RX7 did get its very best gas
mileage at 150km/h, but that was one slippery car in the wind. Top
down it just got really quiet.

But straight-line speed isn't where either of those cars shine. I'd
rather take them down tight twisties with ups and down in the road
than to the drag strip.
