I thought our never ending evening parade of possums and coons in the inner
city was enough. Muskrats? Can't you trap them for coats? And otters? I only
see them in the zoo.
We now have large populations of waterfoul like herons and such, thanks to
Bill Barber and the other texans. If they fill one more swamp and drive the
little buggers up here, we might send them on to canada to make up for the
geese they sent us.

Although our pond is frequented by raccoons and herons the bigger problem
is the muskrats tunneling through the dam and the occasional otter which can
clean out the fish. And lately bullfrogs. What a nasty critter!
