I didn't get to shoot with the 9-18mm - it was on a stand and was (I
was told) non-functional. I suspect that it was a prototype and they
didn't want me to use it - and publish images.
To whoever was askingf about the Panasonic 7-14mm. My shots were
unacceptable but I notice that DPReview's gallery of E-PL1 images
includes several that were take at 7mm -

They may have been taken with either the Pany mFT 7-14mm or the Oly
7-14mm with adapter.

Incidentally - there's an interesting pricing deal. The E-PL1 body
only sells here for A$899. With 14-42mm lens, $999. However there is a
two lens kit and as they didn't have a suitable telephoto yet, they
are bundling in the standard 40-150mm with the adapter for $1199. That
values them at $200 - as the adapter sells here for more than $300,
that's a real bargain.
