OK, the R8 has a great finder, I have looked thru it, but... have you seen
those finders on entry-level DSLRs? They're awful!

An extremely expensive seller -- S. Gandy offers the very same adapter for
much less.

Of course, it was the first thing I ordered for my GF1 ;-) It's Chinese, but
not of the cheapest ones -- RJ Camera, so far I have no complaints at all.

Could be, but I'm not a "50mm equivalent" man... However, the standard
pancake lens is much more suited to the task; adapted lenses would make a
great substitute for teles -- the "standards" on film becoming nice, fast,
compact portrait teles!

...and then there's the big Canon FD 85/1.2 SSC Aspherical, becoming a
170/1.2 -- or 170/2.4 DOF-wise, still a great thing. A pic of that beast:
