The painterly effect was kind of what I was after. Should have spent more
time on it and used the tripod.
It is pouring rain here, today. Supposed to last all day. Most of the snow
is gone, except for the igloo in our front yard. The neighbor kids know
that they are welcome to play with the snow in our yard, as it is the only
flat, open space in the immediate area. As a result, when they build an
igloo or fort, we get our walks shoveled. Works for me. LOL
