Looking at the photo of *bay #250533755240, I think the construction of the 
elefoto is not much better, actually it looks the same as the Chinese one in 
mechanical design on the key "spring" position I mentioned. Anyway, as it is 
not too expensive no harm to give it a try. For the "spring" flattening 
problem it can be fixed by putting a tweezers in the slot to restore its 
position.

BTW, welcome to the dark side, your 180/2 shot is really nice, great catch!
