Have neither that flash or the cam but.... isn't the AF assist IR on
the FL-50? Doesn't work with CD AF AFAIK. Why didn't they put an LED
on the EP-2? Suppose they could strobe the flash with new firmware
but have read AF assist should be snappy to enable that method to be
used. Oh wait, downloaded the instruction booklet--pg 63----"remove
halogen flashlight from pocket and aim of object of interest, half
press to focus, turn off manual AF lamp and proceed normally."
May still prove to be a G11 slayer but is mighty pricey. We'll see.

I will use my FL-50 flash with E-P2 but I remember FL-50 AF assist
lamp didn´t work with E-P1. Ken ;) Do you know if Olympus has fixed
this issue?
