Seems we have the same problem Nathan. The place where I live is very
residential and pretty sedate in traffic so riding the roads is pretty safe.
In fact Charleston city rules forbid riding bikes on sidewalks or walking
areas such as a prominade. This is fine for adults but an exception should
be made for young riders (I've seen children as young as 4 years riding the
streets...without training wheels). The city recently compromised and now
allows children under 15 to ride the sidewalks.
It looks like your graffiti "artist" doesn't like bikes at all. What are
the official rules where you are?
