woah ! What a crazy thread - you guys get too talkative during Fridays
- noticed that since long ago :-)

Andrew, besides Pen-sées I'm able to send you the chapter concerning
Paraphilia in the DSMIV - mmmmmm, now I see I have the .pdf in Spanish
but the book in English :-)
I may send you the writing (on ink) of SFreud 'On Fetishism' ... but
that would start an off topic on Denial, Denegation, Logic and
Unconscious - so I'd better withheld.

You've made me remember that I still own a red Parker '51 ( .... so,
I'm a Pen man too ;-) ) - the sad side of this anecdote is that I had
two in fact, the black one was beautiful but either I lost it or
someone stole it from my pocket when I was 18 - that was a very
traumatic event during my youth and still is ... :-) - I should repair
the red Parker '51, cannot live any longer with the phantom of a lost
Pen.

what else? - oh, yeah: no Bob, they don't make life the joy it can be
- I know a few of them and rest assured: they're very unhappy. Perhaps
you mean 'preliminary pleasure' but that's not fetishism. In such a
case I agree.
On this topic, there is a very exciting movie by Luis Buñuel:
<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Belle_de_jour_%28film%29> - hope it
could make it through the cultural gap.

Ken, if you ever manage to export Palm Calendar into m$ Outlook
Calendar, tell me how you did so. I've been trying since 2006 w/o any
luck. My professional life is kidnapped into Palm 4.1.4E, since
Apple's MacOS 8.6 supported Claris Organizer no longer and forced a
switch to Palm v.1.2. It was as traumatic, but partially succeeded to
jump from Palm 2.x for the MacOS to Palm 414E for win. Palm says
version 6 has effective Outlooks conduits to export to m$Outlook. Last
week I tried: not true. Surprised? No.

Further off-topic - ever more further ... does anyone here have any of
these Bill Frisell trio: Bill Frisell/Ron Carter/Paul Motian : The
Bluenote, NYC 7.1.2009, or perhaps the older 2006 studio
<http://www.amazon.ca/Bill-Frisell-Carter-Paul-Motian/dp/B000GNOSCC> _
*and*_ the 1996 Ginger Baker, Bill Frisell and Charlie Haden 'Falling
of the Roof' <http://www.amazon.com/Falling-off-Roof-Ginger-Baker/dp/B000002J9P>
- since last week, bought Frisell, Holland & Elvin Jones -
unbelievable, cannot wait any longer ... sort of prejudice about
Frisell w/ Zorn prevented me to buy these trios when easily available
- esp. the 1996 one.

Fernando.
