My loss was nowhere near Bill Barber's, but the bad boys did get away with
the Mynolta A-1 which my son had borrowed. Thus I have an A-1 grip with two
NP-400 type batteries available to any lister who cares to front the
shipping cost. Yes, free. Gratis. For nothing. Complimentary. A
giveaway.
The grip provides extended use in the field, by accommodating 2 batteries in
place of the one in the camera body, and also enables use of six AA cells,
preferably lithium (AA holder included).
I know there are more than a couple of A-1 fans here, but don't worry, you
can respond offlist, there is no need to go public about use of off-topic
equipment.
