This morning I got an automatic update to Firefox 3.1 (whatever) and was
later prompted to update to 3.5 for security reasons. I decided to do
so but as the download was running I noticed the link was
http://en-us.www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/3.0.1/whatsnew/
I had never previously seen this "en-us.www" structure and was concerned
it was a spoof of some sort. So I killed the download, went to
mozilla.org, was redirected to mozilla.com and finally to a download at
<http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/products/download.html?product=firefox-3.5.1&os=win&lang=en-US>
and I downloaded and installed from there.
So, is the first link valid or a spoof of some sort?
