I'm using two 1.5TB drives ($130@). One is in the computer as primary
image storage. The other sits in a protective case when not in use and
is connected using a Thermaltake Blacx eSATA/USB docking station to
back-up the primary. The docking station is also used to back-up things
other than images onto other bare drives.
If it makes any difference to you, eSATA is MUCH faster than USB
2.0HiSpeed. The external 1.5TB drive, when attached, is as fast as the
internal one.
It's not THAT much storage space, mine is 62% used.
