You can add a grid to any screen, with DIY methods. Simply scribe lines on the
Fresnel side of it, using a razor blade or other suitable tool. I'd use a small
square to make sure they are square to the edges of the screen itself. It's a
delicate job but can be done. The Canon screens are plastic so this is not that
difficult. A grid on an EC-S screen would be ideal for MF and architecture/grid
use.
