Some of the later spring flowers are showing around here. It's been a
long winter so everything is at least a few weeks to a month late. I
lost a rosemary bush this winter that was over 15 years old. Fawn
lilies, shooting stars, Blue-eyed Marys etc. are done. The camas fields,
chocolate lilies, ranunculus etc. are in full bloom but the weather has
to provide some good light before I can get some decent photos. Maybe
this weekend. Anyway, here are some shots of later blooming spring
flowers. I have been doing a rough selection of the subject before
applying LCE then invert the selection and apply a very little gaussian
blur to improve the bokeh of the digital lenses. They are a bit harsh to
my eye. Of course the 135/4.5 does fine with no adjustment needed. All
taken with the E510. Check the Ap09 directory for more foxes if you are
interested. By the way, I had a jinfinance 4/3rds adapter fail again
after I thought I had fixed it. The screws holding the two pieces
together are too small and too few. Time for Walt glue. I was in the
sand dunes with the lens on the tripod when the body fell off so no
damage was done. Beware!
