[OM] Question on use of OM adaptall2 on a 4T

Has anyone tried and fill the offending screw slot with  an appropriate 
substance (?epoxy) and then use this adapter?

Wonder what would be the best stuff to use and how to be sure it 
remains able to flush mount.
