My preference, when needing to use flash in theatre lighting is to clamp a
couple of radio slaved flash units up in the ceiling cove with the other FOH
lighting fixtures. This way it looks just like the normal stage lighting.
If you have enough radio controlled flashes, you can throw a "hair-light"
up in the above stage lighting grid.
