I had the pleasure of driving a RR for about 40 miles in the early 180s
.............. a two year old Silver Shadow. At 80mph the noisest thing was
the click of the quartz clock ...... absolutely no road noise or engine
noise at all, just none at all, none. A week or two later I was given a ride
in a new Mercedes Benz; compared to the RR this piece of German engineering
was like riding in your regular General Motors piece of junk..
Keep it shined Larry ............. it'll be running long after any GM
product yet to be built rusts out and falls apart.
