This kind of events are joy to shot! But I understand your pain :-) I had 
problem in taking a two hours session even with E1 and DZ50-200 not to 
mention the 35-100, I think I will never be able to handheld it.

I "solved" the problem by using 85/2 and Canyon digital back, the 
combination was a joy to play with:
