[OM] Leaving OM-2n on 'AUTO' - How much battery drain?

When I set the OM-2n to 'OFF,' I often forget to set it back to 'AUTO'
before shooting.  Furthermore, I often forget to set it to 'OFF' after
shooting and instead leave it on 'AUTO' for hours on end.  Can I just
leave it on 'AUTO' all the time, or will the batteries quickly die
