Indeed. I sold a Leica R4 motor drive to a doctor in Canada. it
failed soon out of the box. He objected.
I offered a full refund and told him to keep it - I'd take his word
for it and he could have the detachable power pack and hand grip for
the inconvenience.
He was very complementary about this approach and insisted that I
only refund half. I did a bit better than that.
It was a pleasant exchange and worth the loss for the warm feeling.
