Hmmm, I think we are at cross-purposes here.  The 3-volt battery holders
power the OM body.  The 6-volt powerpacks do not (they will power winders
and macro flash modelling lights).  The powerpacks are not interchangeable
with the battery holders.

Thanks.  I didn't know these things existed.  But then I've never owned a
motor drive and have rarely ever used my winder.
