I think the error is on the part of Bojidar Dimitrov, a Pentax
afficianodo and the owner of the web site with the posted link. The
Pentax development history posted on the Pentax site claims only that
the AsahiFlex 1 (1952) was the first *Japanese* 35mm SLR and that the
Asahi Pentax of 1957 was the first *Pentax* model to use a pentaprism.
