This place is worth the side trip if you are in that vicinity.. a bit out of
the way, but the scenery is incredible, and the falls will always stand out in
my mind as one of the most spectacular places to visit. I get goosebumps just
thinking about that place.. I have driven through there often and never fail to
stop, no matter the day. time, etc.. it is a pilgrimage for me..
Note that it is an easy walk, about 1 km from parking.. so it must be
photogenic!

If you pack raingear or have a 720-770 SW series Olympus.., you can walk right
up to the falls.. excellent when it is 30+ degrees outside..
Come to think of it..I havent been back there since I bought my E-500.. oh
no... I feel a road trip coming on...

Any suggestions out there for this first trip to the Banff/Jasper area.
Will stay a few days at Emerald Lake in Yoho Park followed by a few in Banff.

miss. Hopefully some of those may be places without 10,000 other folks. All
photos with Olympus cameras (e-1, OM 2S and chrome six if there is room). Any
