Had seen these and others advertised and have been tempted. One would think
the cardbus speed
?would be rate-limiting
though I don't know enough about these. Perhaps this would be useful to you.
However, may not be cost-effective.

I looked at this one and it has one flaw for my use. I want to be able
to access any and all of my external drives with all of my computers -
and the notebook doesn't have eSATA.
