Used to go swimming with a couple of my buddies in a special, secret spot on 
Citico Creek -- 12 feet deep, with a big tree leaning out over the creek you 
could walk out on and dive off -- near my hometown of Vonore, Tennessee, And 
one day, as I was lolling about and sort of just floating downstream, I saw 
there was a water moccasion swimming right along beside me. That's got to be 
the fastest I have ever swum/swam/swimmed -- whatever the hell it is -- to get 
back on dry land.
