Hi all,

I actually prefer a necktie. It's a lot neater and in cold weather reduces 
draughts around the neck, thus keeping me warmer.

If I want to make a good impression in a formal or semi-formal situation, an 
open-neck shirt etc just doesn't cut it.   I seldom feel neat and tidy in an 
open-neck shirt.
