Hi Moose

It's ok really, I should use a bit more :-) hey :-)

I could to :-)

Thats only an example of what I'm using and my current problem,
not ment for Scott, though you can remove the CD's (used for stability
and have 4 rubber feet on the bottom), and use it as a vertical stand
outdoors, its only a piece of thick Aluminium with a series of holes
drilled in it, and the wingnuts with rubber washers. Very versatile
actually.

Have a cross piece for it as well to hold two flash units of any
combo but , um, in reference to others, I um, dont have any
epoxy on it, anywere.....

ok, heres the :-)

Lets face it, most of us on this list are Zuikoholics, doesnt matter
what we buy, we always want that one last thing, oh, and that one
as well, and while its there, could I just grab that as well ?

Hmm, no, dont have an adapter for that :=)

ok, no, I wouldnt knock the kit lens for poor macro capabilities
simply because they are kit lens, and because I havent tried them
as macro's anyway ;-)

No matter, part of my enjoyment of these things is in making it work,
as well as finding out what does happen when you try X with Y ?

I'm actually slowly buying stuff in the hope that Oly really will one
day release the P1, the E500 is my digital learning device for want
of a better description. Guess I'm also going through what others
feel when you have a rather extensive OM kit (also applies to
other brands) and really want to replace the lot with the digital
equivelants but there is that thing called cost, and lack of goods
to replace the old stuff with :-( Guess thats why we have the
Manual Focus Adapter (MF-1) :-)

I will admit though that although this is all proving time consuming
I still enjoy it, to an extent, sort of, ok, alot :-)

True but its still fun and interesting in the challenge to make things
do what they really werent intended to do, or maybe thats just me ;-)

I dont actually own an adjustable wrench, which is amazing considering
the amount of tools and stuff I have here. Hm, no, I lie, think I
have an adjustable cresent in the car boot kit to use on trailer U bolts.

I know, been reading about them but only got the E500 a month or
so ago, at this rate I'm going to have to get a job again....

I have a collection of OM macros but what I meant is moving over as
availability and cost dictate. What I think I really need though, is the
successor to the E-1, that would make it a lot easier on these old
40 odd year old eye's, not to mention those nice little similiar
features one gets use to on the OM single digit bodies.

Cheers
