When did little hinky things like step-up rings get so expensive? I've got
about every 49mm filter there is because of all the little 49mm filter Zuikos,
but the Summilux 50/2 wants 46mm filters, so, not willing to buy a new bunch of
filters, I ordered a 46-49mm B+W step-up ring from B&H: $19.95!
Plus $3.70 slow USPS shipping. I'm in no hurry. Ain't going nowhere much right
now.
And I'd forgotten what a PITA it is to use a polarizer on a rangefinder;
something to learn how to do again all over. But RFs have got other advantages,
like ease of focusing in dark places and being quiet and virtually
vibration-free with no flapping mirrors, diaphragm shut-down mechanisms and
such. :-)
