Chuck,

It is wheat :-)  100mm lens (to 'compress' the undulations) full width  
negative cropped by about 1/4 off the top (to lose some 
hedges and sky) and 1/4 off the bottom (where I couldn't hold focus). I also 
shot it in colour with Agfa Vista 200 but felt that 
it killed the 'what is it?' factor:
