Best skeeter trap around is dirty water, watch for the larva and when they
are developed, dump it out and add more dirty water.

But I'd have to use Typha occidentalis rather than Typha orientalis!
No room unfortunately and the mosquito problem is already bad enough  
- though better now given the dessicated landscape.
