I have other things that will gather dust. The Yashica has gathered dust for
many years already.
As I stated, I need more reach than 200 mm, and I don't want to have to buy
a 2 X adaptor to make this lens get the reach I need when I already have
other adaptors and plan on doing as several of the other list members
suggested, get a GOOD Oly 2X-A tele converter, and use that on the
200/300/400/500 what ever that I can get.
The only film shooting I ever did was with an Olympus Stylus, and a couple
of other Oly P & S, which is why I stuck with Oly when I got my first
Digitals C-3000 C-700 UZ.
Ali, I think it was , mentioned an interest a few months ago, back then I
hadn't decided on getting rid of the lens's too. I am told this is a fine
set up for beginning news photos and I have a University in town, but on
E-Bay the 50 mm and body rarely seem to go for over 50 dollars, the 80-200
may have some value, but not to me if I already have something else that is
bout as good and I can put the 2X on it.
Basically, as it is, I stopped using it maybe a month ago.

Was it you that espoused some interest in the Yahisca FX 2 body I have?
I am going to let the Body go along with the 50 mm f1.9 lens and the F 4
80-200 mm zoom which I was told won some sort of photography award in 78 or
79. They are good lens, I need a lot more reach than 200 mm.
The 1.9 has been fine as a regular lens, not as much magnification as I
wanted in a reverse macro, though the 1.9 f was nice, I think I'll look for
a 35 mm Zuiko 1.8 f for that, if I need one.
The 80-200 would be fine if I had a 2 X teleconverter for it, but suddenly I
find I have a Oly converters I don't want to start buying more
Yahisca/Contax stuff too. I can at least use the 2 and 3 x tele converters I
have on Oly body stuff.
I have the hard to find 4/3rds to Yashica/Contax adaptor too, spent about 45
dollars for it (someone else wanted $65) 2 months ago.
Let me know if you are still interested, or if I am remembering the wrong
person!
