Now that Dr. Flash has weighed in, I'll just mention that my few TTL
flash problems, including the flashing (or not) indicator light, have
always been solved by a good cleaning of the flash contacts. They don't
have to look dirty to give problems.
Probably not that in this case, but it's always a good idea to check
before going off into all the other issues.
