[OM] [OT] More on trigger voltage with cheap ebay radio slaves

I got a chance to check a Canon 580EX today with my cheap radio slaves. 
  Both models fire the 580EX without a problem.  It's only the 540EZ 
that doesn't work.  The difference appears to be the trigger voltage. 
The 540EZ is about 3.5 volts on AA batteries.  The 580EX is 4.5 volts on 
AA's.
