Interesting too, that in the context of the larger room, the background
is much closer to what I ended up with.
One problem with auto exposure systems is that they don't deal properly
with subjects like the closeup of this painting, pulling it toward
neutral gray. The Spot Shadow function on an OM-4 (and some Oly DSLRs?)
would have handled it much better.
