You can use black cap for md cover, but use chrome cap for battery 
connection.  Olympus stopped supplying black caps for OM-4 years ago due 
to battery connection problems. Though if you want to cover the md port 
only, I have a few new black caps.  You have to promise not to use it 
for the battery.  :-)
