I spoke to Adobe about this and Lightroom will become sort of a front-end to
Photoshop - something like the current Adobe Raw Converter on steroids! A
Windows Beta should be available within a few weeks.

I just read the text of the Adobe announcement on Luminous Landscape
about the acquisition of Pixmantec's Raw Shooter. What is strange is
that it specifically says the technology will be applied to
Lightroom. Nothing about Photoshop. Wonder what they are doing.
