As an owner of the fine machine, I can tell you from xperience that in
comparison against other like featured camera's you are getting a lot of bang
for your $$. I dont think you'll outgrow this body quickly...I cant say that
truly for any other body around this price range. The Rebel XT feels cheap to
me and is lacking features. The N*kon D50 lacks features and you would have to
jump up to the D70s which is slightly higher priced and of course N$kon glass
is costly.

The ONLY drawback is the small viewfinder but you get used to it.
