I guess I'm sort of late to jump on the bandwagon, but since yesterday I'm
a happy owner of a shiny new OM-4T. Well, I suppose it's not really that
shiny or new, but still great looking ;)
I consider myself a beginner when it comes to photography, although I've
used Nikon AF (film) system for a while now. Switching to an even older,
discontinued camera may not be the most prudent thing to do, but ever
since I saw a good deal on the Olympus I just had to have it. It seemed to
have everything I was missing from my previous camera and none of the
features I considered useless. By the way, I ended up missing that good
deal and buying the camera at 2x the price anyway..
I have a question too, the body is missing the motor coupling socket
cover. Are these things relatively common, perhaps even interchangeable
with some other camera, or am I out of luck? I suppose some tape could
suffice in emergency.
Well, looking forward to participating in the list, even though I'm
usually more of a lurker type.
