I wuz having a knock-down political argument with a friend recently when it
occurred to me to remind him (and myself) that squabbling over political
differences is exactly the correct way to lose track of the fact that we are
all citizens of sovereign nations, and therefore our perpetual state of
being is, well, being screwed, or, as this photo correctly points out, being
a heap at the bottom of the slippery slope.
