Ouch ... sorry to hear that.
I'm glad I've never tried canned air on anything other than some slides ...
and the can leaked afterwards before I could be adventurous.

I used a can of compressed air like Dust Off to dust one of my
Bronica lenses. It had been in my bag and therefore not upright
shortly before use (and it was nearly full). The liquid made a bit
of a mess of the coating of the lens ...
