If you find your OM system flashes underpowered, have you ever thought of a
professional studio electronic flash? I bought this system in 1980, but it
is in excellent condition and full working order. I use it so rarely these
days that I cannot justify the space that it is taking up in my flat, and so
I am offering it at the bargain price of £100 if any OMer would like to give
it a good home. The system consists of:
1 Bowens Quad 2002 power pack, 1500 watts/second
2 Quad 2002 flash heads
2 Evenlite reflectors, 13" diameter, 50° coverage angle
1 Floodlite reflector, 14" diameter, 65° coverage angle
1 mains lead
1 synchronisation lead (normal PC connection to camera)
1 Monocell slave unit
2 Courtenay padded cases (1 for the pack, 1 for the heads)
Don't confuse this system with the heavily used and scruffy systems that
appear on eBay; mine has had only careful amateur use.
I am not selling my lighting stands, umbrellas or flash meter, so you will
need to buy these elsewhere if you need them.
I really don't want to try and send this equipment by post, and I can't
drive. I would prefer the buyer to collect from near Kingston upon Thames,
but I could deliver if you are near a station in the London area.
I can provide photographs of the equipment, or scans of brochures, on
request.
