That's an impressive photo. I see what you mean about the noise. I've read 
a few reviews which have said that the noise from the E-1 is unacceptable 
at high ISO values. If your image is anything to go by then these claims 
seem a little shaky. Personally speaking I think that your image has less 
noise than the grain visible on a few ISO 800 emulsions I have seen in the 
past.
