Thank you Walt.  I do the same thing with the mount.  It seems
harmless locked away at about 1 o'clock (as viewed from the back of
the camera). YMMV.

Though I was lately complaining about the mount, it works much better
(for me at least) than the old Oly mounts for allowing one to rotate
for verticals.  It's almost like there is a bearing underneath the
band.  Beautiful design by Mother Oly.

As for the 1.4 TC, guess what's in my B&H wishlist?  :)  I need to buy
it before the E-330 is selling.  I'm afraid my only way to resist that
camera is going to be to spend all my Oly money on other things first.

I was sore to buy the lens without the benefit of a rebate, but now
that I have it, I can't say that I miss the money anymore.
