[OM] Should I be concerned?

Subject: [OM] Should I be concerned?

I needed some reading literature for a daily event and came
across something frightening in my camera manuals.

On page seven of my Minolta A1 manual it says:

"Burns may result if the memory card or battery is removed
immediately after extended periods of use. Turn the camera off
and wait for it to cool."

And then in the manual/pamphlet for the Olympus BLM-1 Li-ion
Battery:

"The battery gets hot after extended use in a camera. To prevent
burns, do not remove the battery from the camera immediately
after use."

So, these warnings beg the question of just how many pictures
can be taken in a specific period of times before we risk
roasting our fingerprints off? Has anybody on this list
experienced singed digits from a feverish camera?
