The software can be complex, and the factory defaults can be, well,
defaulty.
I find that my experience professionally helps me achieve the results I
desire, as many of the operations are analogous to some part of the optical
process, and many are enhancements.
As an example, would rather rely on photoshop than myself for contrast and
unsharp masking. I've made pin-registered composites, and it's simply no
fun.
