John, you're right. You did comment on it before.

Michael Spencer (Derbyshire) has now fixed it for me and I have (for the
first time) a working 35RD.

Many thanks to Martyn Smoothy as well we Michael.

I'll now be sending some OM-1s off to Michael for repairs.

I think I commented on this one before.  If they completely disassembled
the shutter to clean the oil out, they may have bent something.  There
is a pin that must slide smoothly in a slot on the shutter plate.  If it
does not move properly, diaphragm may jam.
