[OM] Flattening film

Anyone have any advice on how to flatten out film? I had most of my
processing done while I was away and one place in Vietnam didn't cut
and sleeve my negs; they just rolled them up and put them in film cans
for me. The result of this (aside from having to cut all the rolls
myself) is that the film will not stay flat.

In retrospect, I'm thinking the best solution would have been to load
the film onto film reels, wash and photo flow them and then take them
off the reels and hang them weighted in a film dryer. But that's 20/20
hindsight for you.

Since these are already cut and sleeved I'm looking for other
solutions. So far I've tried placing the sleeves under several heavy
books for a couple of days and this has helped but they still curl
quite a bit.

My other thought is to sandwich the sheets between some paper and put
them in a dry mount press with no heat but I've been warned that the
pressure from that could damage the film if I didn't get things
aligned properly.

Any other thoughts?
